Washington County District Attorney’s Office Launches Modern Traffic Programs Powered by Advent Traffic Platform
LOUISVILLE, K.Y. (April 9, 2026) — The Washington County District Attorney’s Office (WCDA’s Office) has implemented Advent Traffic, a modern, fully automated solution developed by AdventFS, to streamline the management of traffic violations and reduce administrative burden across the office.
Beginning this year, the office will launch three key initiatives through the platform:
Traffic Diversion Program
Traffic Reduction Program
Aggravated Unlicensed Operator (AUO) Reduction Program
These programs reflect a strategic effort to improve operational efficiency, enhance public service, improve educational component for offending drivers, and ensure prosecutorial resources are focused on higher-priority matters.
Historically, traffic cases have required significant time and resources, often pulling Assistant District Attorneys (ADAs) into court for routine appearances related to plea offers and administrative processing. With increasing caseloads, the need for a more efficient system became clear.
Advent Traffic automates the workflow for eligible traffic violations, enabling defendants to apply online, complete requirements digitally, and receive case resolutions more efficiently.
By reducing the time spent on routine traffic cases, the WCDA’s Office can reallocate resources toward prosecuting misdemeanors, felonies, and complex investigations, ensuring greater impact on public safety.
The platform integrates seamlessly into existing workflows and requires no additional staffing or infrastructure. Already utilized by District Attorney offices across New York and the U.S., Diversion Manager has demonstrated success in reducing case backlogs, improving efficiency, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
