Oswego County Installs Advent Kiosks to Level the Playing Field

Oswego County, NY District Attorney Anthony DiMartino uses the Advent Diversion Manager platform to provide traffic diversions for those receiving citations in his jurisdiction. In an effort to level the playing field for traffic offenders who may not have access to internet connected devices that would allow them to take online intervention courses Mr. DiMartino approached Advent with the idea of creating internet connected touch screen kiosks to be stationed at the DA’s office. Drivers who are in need of an internet connected device can use the kiosks to register to take driving courses, and once approved, they can use them to take the course on the Advent eLearning platform.

With this understanding of the needs of the Oswego community, Advent went to work creating kiosks that provide the access needed by indigent, or otherwise unconnected individuals. Two new kiosks were delivered and installed at the Oswego DA’s office in May and stand ready to serve those in need.

Advent applauds the forward-thinking efforts implemented by Mr. DiMartino and the drive to provide services that are inclusive of all the members of the Oswego community.
