Diversion and alternative sentencing programs require flexibility to account for individual circumstances while maintaining efficiency and consistency. Recent Diversion Manager enhancements give agencies greater control over pricing, documentation, and case disposition, without increasing administrative workload.
Conditional Pricing Within Workflows
Agencies can now apply conditional pricing directly within online workflows, extending functionality previously limited to office-enrolled programs. When approving applications for diversion, plea, or sentencing programs, users can select pre-built pricing structures for each program component, including courses, program fees, and external provider requirements.
Pricing is automatically applied based on the defendant’s assessment and displayed in the self-service student portal. This allows agencies to align costs with factors such as offense severity, monitoring duration, jurisdictional costs, or indigency considerations, supporting more equitable and defensible program pricing.
Document Generation and Routing
Diversion Manager now supports electronic document generation and routing within workflows. Agencies can create templates for diversion agreements, waivers, and other required documents that merge system data into PDFs and trigger at any stage of the process.
Documents are delivered electronically, stored within the system, and can be combined with upload functionality to capture signed agreements. Review and acceptance of documents can automatically advance defendants through the workflow, reducing delays and manual follow-up.
Disposition Management for Office-Enrolled Programs
Disposition management is now available for pre-screened, office-enrolled programs. Agencies can generate mergeable disposition documents once program requirements are complete and automatically distribute them to defendants, attorneys, and courts. The Forms Library brings the efficiency of automated dispositions to ad-hoc treatment plans, eliminating the need for manual document creation and distribution.
These enhancements extend Diversion Manager’s flexibility while further automating critical processes, helping agencies operate programs that are fair, efficient, and scalable.
